Shenzhen Bay Highway Bridge

Its total length is 5545m, was designed as per international standards, its service life is 120 years. The width of the bridge is 33.1m, it carries two-way six-lane carriageway, and it is the widest road bridge and it is also the bridge with highest standard in China. The bridge has two navigation spans, south navigation span and north navigation span, both are single-pylon single-plane steel box girder cable-stayed bridge with length of 210m and 180m respectively, constant section box girder of 75m span is used for non-navigation span. Axial plane of the bridge is “S” shaped.
It was commenced in August 2003, and opened to traffic in Jult 2007.
